Halloween 2014

Halloween this year was a blast with the three big kids really looking forward to dressing up and trick or treating!

The day before Halloween, Lucas' preschool class dressed up in their costumes and put on a little show for the parents and special friends where they sang some Halloween songs. It was SO cute! Mimi Irene was with us to help out since baby Evan was born, so she got to come along too! Lucas was excited to wear his ghost costume!

 

After preschool, we came home and took some photos of the kids in their pumpkin tshirts. Of course, we needed to get a last-minute newborn outfit for Evan! He wasn't expected to arrive until a few weeks after Halloween, so we weren't prepared with a costume this year. Luckily, Target still had some options left, so Evan dressed up as a little monster.

 

 

 

On the morning of Halloween, I took the three big kids to our friends' house for a Halloween playdate. We were saving costumes for the evening, so the kids wore some fun outfits that doubled as costumes. The boys wore Superman t-shirts (David's even had a little cape) and Claire wore her Elsa dress.

 

The kids all had a great time trick or treating in our neighborhood with Mimi JoJo, Papa JayJay, Daddy, Mommy and Allison. Claire was an owl. Lucas was a ghost. And David was a monkey. They all came back with tons of candy!
