Seriously, time, how are you going by so quickly!? Evan continues to be such a wonderful and sweet baby! This month, as he becomes more aware and involved in his surroundings, he's becoming more vocal, interactive, smiley and more opinionated (aka fussy!).
He sits in the bumbo chair and especially likes to watch his older brothers and sister dance around the kitchen during their nightly dance parties! Evan can grasp toys and bring them to his mouth which helps keep him occupied and interested in being on the floor or playmat.
Evan rolled from his belly to his back one time during the last week of this month, but hasn't done it again since. He tries really hard to roll from his back to his belly each time he is laid on the floor, but can only get to his side. One of these days, he will figure out how to get over the hump of his arm. He has amazingly strong legs and loves to be held up so he can stand.
He continues to be a really good sleeper, going to bed between 8 and 8:30pm and waking around 7:30am. Evan takes 3 naps each day...morning around 8:30/9am, afternoon around 1pm and late afternoon around 4:30/5pm. One change near the end of this month, is that he is finally napping in his crib and not in the swing. He is still swaddled during naps and nighttime, which we think he prefers.
We are still nursing and he eats 6 times each day.
This kid loves his siblings and spends much of his awake time observing them, smiling at them and cooing at them. And Claire, David and Lucas get such a kick out of their interactions with Evan!
What a joy, this little guy is! It's amazing to think that roughly a year ago, we found out that we were expecting another baby! And now that Evan is here and such a huge part of our family...we couldn't imagine our life without him!
