Our new Home Sweet Home...

Sorry for the hiatus - we have been SO BUSY these last couple of months with our move that blog updates had to be put on the back-burner! So, back on July 3, we closed on our new house!! Over the next 10 days, time was spent making trips to the new house with boxes (any boxes we could take meant less $$ we had to pay our movers!). We also had painters come in to take down wall paper and paint several rooms. We are so glad that we spaced out the settlements for our old and new house! On the morning of July 14, the movers showed up (in the pouring rain!) to pack up all of our furniture.

Our families were SUCH a huge help during the entire packing and moving process. The Niemis came to help us pack last-minute boxes and keep Lucas occupied the weekend before the move. And The Filosas and Pipals came the weekend of the move to help pack last-minute boxes, help occupy Lucas, and help unpack once we got here. We really can't thank everyone else enough for all of their help! And the offers to come back to get us situated keep coming - which is so wonderful considering I get so winded, so quickly now-a-days.

We definitely miss our adorable stone-front colonial that we called home for 7.5 years! Our neighbors were wonderful, and we just have had so many laughs and memories on Andrew Rd. But, we are also excited to create new memories on Pin Oak Lane!

Some family pictures the day before the move

We started as just the 2 of us, and are leaving as a family of (almost!) 6!
Our new home!

The awesome yard, covered deck, and 2 sliding doors are our most-fave features!

New Hampshire Vacation

During the last week of June, we took a family vacation to the Burlington, Vermont area with Mimi Connie and Grandpa Pipal. We rented a beautiful home on Lake Champlain and enjoyed swimming, kayaking, visiting the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory and Ben & Jerry's Factory. We also spent time eating and shopping in Burlington, which is right on the water and very beautiful. It was a wonderful trip...our last as a family of 3 (or 4...Darby was there too!).
