David & Claire's Colorful 1st Birthday Party

On Saturday, October 12, we hosted David & Claire's 1st birthday party at our house with a rainbow colors theme! We had 27 guests including 11 children! It was the perfect amount of people and we were so lucky that the weather was nice that day and we were able to extend the party on to our deck and patio!

And, of course, the main reason anyone attends a first birthday party...to watch the cake smash!! We sang to Baby A, David, fist since he was born first. Claire was born 2 minutes later, so we sang to her next. The rainbow tie-dye cakes were a hit! Claire took forever to dig in, but David entertained everyone with his smashing abilities and then decided to wear the plate on his head before heading straight to the bathtub!
