Development-wise, Lucas really continued to master the skills that he was working on before. Very early in October, he became a full-fledge crawler up on all fours - no more of that army crawling stuff, he says! He continues to pull up on everything, and he plays on his knees more now. He has also started cruising along furniture, but he's not sure what to make of his legs, quite yet. Oh, yes, and while we are on the mobility-front...Lucas he has mastered climbing up the staircase! On his first attempt with Grandpa Mark spotting, he made it up 5 steps, and the second time, all 13! Needless to say, our ottoman has found a home at the bottom of the staircase as a blocker :) Clapping has become a favorite trick, and when we say "Bravo!", you are sure to get a bunch of jovial clapping from the little man. Pretty adorable!
Boy, was this a busy month! Fall is here and we sure did take advantage of it! This month, Lucas visited with all of his grandparents, saw Great Grandma Peura and took the last 4-generation photo we were in need of, saw Babci and Dziadzi 2x (which means going to NJ 2x also!), and went to two different pumpkin patches. Our visit to Penn State deserves a separate post! Let's just say we were exhausted by the end of October, but, we sure did have fun!!
