Lucas goes to Rochester

Over Memorial Day weekend, Lucas, Eric, Darby, and I packed up the Traverse and headed up to Rochester to spend the holiday weekend with family and friends. What a fun trip!  We spent the first part of the weekend with Nana and Grandpa, and the last part of the weekend with Grandma and Papa! Aunt Dede and Eli also flew in from Minnesota because all Eli wanted for his 9th birthday was to "meet that baby!" What a great little babysitter, drool wiper, hand holder, and cousin Eli was - Lucas LOVED him and  you can tell Lucas really enjoyed spending time with a big kid :)

We had a very fun-filled weekend which started off with a big family dinner hosted by Mark and Connie. On Saturday, we all went to the Seneca Park Zoo where we saw bald eagles, rhinos, elephants, polar bears, and sea lions! And on Sunday, Joanne and Jerry hosted a Memorial Day picnic where we visited with lots of family and friends. Of course, they all loved meeting Lucas and playing with and cuddling him - I'm not sure I held him once that entire day :)
